Behind the Scenes with Smith & Co. Foods
We recently had a delicious time in the kitchen with Camilla from Smith & Co. Foods, who has had her flourishing business for the past year.

After realising her passion for food, recipes and cooking was far greater than her love for previous work in media and advertising, Camilla made the move to the farm in Warncoort with her vet partner, Tom, and into the kitchen. Poised to assert herself into the food scene in Geelong, Western Victoria and Melbourne, Smith and Co. Foods is fast becoming the way to our hearts.
Mill’s cooking style is all about hearty flavours and rustic presentation, with a particular emphasis on Middle Eastern spices and grains and delicious homemade pasta.
We have some beautiful winter warming recipes (with wine of course) from Camilla, which we’ll be sharing over the next month. Think mushroom and Chardonnay, braised beef and Shiraz and our favourite, poached pear and Pinot Noir.
