The Team

From farmers to marketers and everything in between, our team is a varied and wonderful group of wine enthusiasts. We have a team of around 20 staff that includes winemaking, viticulture, groundskeeping, marketing, logistics and sales. We like to think of ourselves as one big family who appreciate the land we live and work on and the beautiful wine we produce.

Austin’s grows and produces single vineyard, premium wines, and is owned and operated by second-generation wine entrepreneur Scott Austin. Harnessing 30 years of Austin’s winemaking history, they are driven to reshape the ‘typical’ Australian fine wine occasion into a vibrant, exploratory and welcoming experience.

Our Region

Austin’s has been located in the heart of the Moorabool Valley since 1990, a cool climate wine region steeped in rich history, where environmental nuances and climate are the main factors influencing vine and grape composition in the region.

Nestled between Geelong & Ballarat, the Moorabool Valley’s small, family run vineyards provide rich and intense low yield fruit, an ideal terroir for producing award-winning wines.

Winemaking

Harnessing more than 30 years of winemaking experience, Austin’s is dedicated to growing and producing single vineyard, premium wines proudly made for special occasions.  We want to encourage, educate, inform, share and demonstrate how premium wine can be enjoyed on several levels.

Specialising in the production of pinot noir, extending its range to include riesling, chardonnay, shiraz and most recently, limited release varietals; cuvee and late harvest riesling.

Visit Us

Located in Sutherlands Creek, just an hour from Melbourne and 20 minutes in-land from Geelong. Visit us at the Cellar Door Thursday-Sunday 11-5pm.
